About Dr.Conti

Dr. Sebastian Conti is a Vascular Surgeon with over 30 years experience in treating circulatory problems. He trained at Columbia University’s St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City and was on the academic and clinical faculty at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine from 1977 to 1994. While at UCD in the Vascular Division, he developed a special interest in vein problems, did research, and published scientific articles and textbook chapters on vein diseases. He frequently lectures to physicians and to community groups on vein disorders. Dr. Conti has a private practice in Carmichael, California. He is past Chairman of the Vascular Surgery Division at Mercy San Juan Medical Center. Dr. Conti was Board Certified in Surgery in 1976. He is a member in good standing of the California Medical Association and the Sacramento - El Dorado Medical Society, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeions.

Dr. Conti founded Advanced Vein Care in 1981. Advanced Vein Care is the area’s leading center for comprehensive, State-of-the-Art diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Conti’s practice encompasses a wide spectrum of venous disease––from complex venous reconstruction to sclerotherapy of spider veins. The first surgeon in Northern California to use VNUS Closure and EVLT techniques for the treatment of varicose veins, he performs more of these procedures than anyone in the area. He has treated thousands of patients during his career, including prominent Sacramento area physicians and politicians.
